The 87th Academy Awards ceremony, commonly known as the Oscar awards, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) honoured the best films of 2014 on February 22 in Hollywood, Los Angeles. During the awards function, the AMPAS presented Academy Awards in 24 categories. And the Oscar goes to:

Best Adapted Screenplay: Graham Moore, The Imitation Game
Best Original Screenplay: Birdman, written by Alejandro G. Iñárritu, NicolásGiacobone, Alexander Dinelaris, Jr. & Armando Bo
Best Original Score: The Grand Budapest Hotel
Best Original Song: 'Glory' (Selma), Music and Lyrics by John Stephens and Lonnie Lynn

Best Film Editing: Tom Cross, Whiplash
Best Actress in a Supporting Role: Patricia Arquette, Boyhood
